I am starting to love NaNoWriMo for motivating me so much to write! 
The most useful thing was the fact that I had a concrete idea in my head on day 1. Also some nifty little character charts that describe each character's fundamental motivation and the conflicts between characters. Myup; conflict is essential.
Also... I am enjoying Nano so much that is is distracting me from real work. Ouchie!

Hello! De pe 27 până pe 29 mai, mă găsiţi la East European Comic Con, unde voi împărţi semne de carte cu personajele din cartea mea!
INVIDIE DE SCRIITOR
E a doua oară anul ăsta şi una dintre puţinele dăţi în viaţă când termin de citit o carte atât de reuşită, de surprinzătoare şi de intensă, încât simt şi la ore după sângele fierbând în mine; şi simt o invidie imensă că stilul meu de a scrie nu e aşa experimentat, că povestea mea încă nu a atins acelaşi nivel, că nu reuşesc să transmit acelaşi neaşteptat la fiecare pas.

NaNoWriMo Update 20th Nov
I am 38 000 words into my NaNoWriMo book and I still haven’t killed my character yet. Also, I started this as a satire, but it’s slowly turning into a mystery.
I am laughing at my past self for thinking that I will be able to finish this book in less than 50k words. Now, it seems to me even 60k won’t be enough with what I have planned in mind.

I am going to take part in National Novel Writing Month for the first time this year - with a novel I've begun writing at the end of the summer! Wish me luck!:D
